Thermoplastics preserve their excellent mechanical and chemical properties at high temperatures. It is for this reason they are used in valve plate production. Based on conditions of the working environment, using thermoplastic(PEEK) valve plates instead of metal valve plates may provide some advantages.

In addition to the metal valve plates, Güner Makine, also produces high-quality thermoplastic valve plates, radiused valve rings, and valve poppets. Materials for these components are selected amongst engineering polymers considering the conditions of the working environment.
